“Department is NBA accredited for the duration 2022-2025”
The Department of Civil Engineering was established in the year 2010 with an intake of 60 students for the first year and an additional 12 students for the second year through lateral entry.
Currently the strength of the department is 200 students. The Department has a team of qualified and experienced faculty and well equipped laboratories with state-of-the-art set up. These include, material testing lab, surveying lab, CAD lab, Hydraulics lab, Geotechnical lab, Geology lab, Concrete & Highway Lab and Environmental Engg.

Puneeth N Thotad has presented a research paper on “Predictive Analysis of Diabetes Mellitus Using Decision Tree Approach” which is accepted for publication in IEEE Conference, CONIT-2022.
Puneeth N. Thotad has completed the online course “Introduction to Artificial Intelligence” under the skill up the program from Simplilearn.
