The department of Civil Engineering was established in the year 2010 with a vision to build quality and proactive civil engineers for the changing world. Began with an intake of 60 students for the First year and an additional 12 students for the second year through lateral entry. Currently the strength of the department is 219 students. The department is accredited by NBA since 2018-19 academic year. A team of proficient and qualified faculty/staff members and well-equipped laboratories with state of the art set up are the unique selling propositions of the department.

The Civil Engineering Department, established in 2010, began with an intake of 60 first-year students and 66 from the second year onwards (including 12 lateral-entry students). Currently, the department has a strength of over 210 students. The department boasts an excellent placement record, with students placed in reputed companies such as UltraTech Cements, Shree Cements, and Kalpataru. Collaborations with organizations like NHAI and WALMI Dharwad offer stipend-supported internships, enhancing industry exposure. Additionally, the department conducts a Skill Development Program (SDP) through the ICI and IGS Chapters and operates a Center of Excellence in Sustainable Construction & Materials.
