Library & Information Center

The Library at KLE Institute of Technology is a hub of knowledge, housing over 20,000 volumes and providing access to thousands of e-resources.
About the Library
The Library is centrally located on campus, housed in an independent building with a plinth area of over 757.19 Sq mtrs and a seating capacity of 250 students. Our collection is regularly updated with new resources in diverse formats, including textbooks, reference books, reports, data books, standards, journals, audio-visual resources, CDs, and project reports.
We've embraced technology to enhance our services. The library is automated using BOOKNEST-Library management software, a multi-user package for effective library management. Our online catalogue and e-resources can be accessed throughout the campus network.
The library subscribes to e-journals from renowned publishers like Springer Link, Taylor and Francis, Science Direct, and IS Standards. Our dedicated staff is always available to provide guidance and assistance in making the best use of our resources.

Rules and Regulations
- Bring your Identity Card
- Top priority is given to Discipline
- Eatables are strictly prohibited in library
- Maintain cleanliness in the library premises
- Maintain perfect silence in the library premises
- Consumption of tobacco products is totally prohibited in the library premises
- Keep Chairs and tables in place while leaving library
- Use of Mobile/Cell phone is strictly prohibited in the library
- Handle books with care. Tearing of pages, writing on pages, folding the pages or any of such destructive acts is liable for disciplinary action and penalty

IT Infrastructure: library has a dedicated system to access e-journals, presently 8 systems are available.
