Overview
The department of Humanities was established way back in the year 2010. Initially the department was conducting Professional Communication course as a certified course for the first year students in integration with training and placement. Later in 2018, VTU made the subject as credit course. The department has expertise in Linguistics and Communication. Since its inception the department plays distinctive role in moulding the careers of Engineers, as the spirit of scientific inquiry and application of Technology, coupled with Human Values and Ethics.
