KLE Institute of Technology
K.L.E. Institute of Technology (KLEIT), Hubli was established in 2008 under the esteemed K.L.E. Society, Belagavi. The K.L.E. Society is 105+ years old and runs 300+ institutions across the state and states of Maharashtra and Delhi. It has presence in Dubai too and has grown over the years as citadel of education.
KLEIT offers five UG programs apart from MCA and MTech (CSE). The K.L.E. Institute of Technology has all UG programs NBA accredited, figured in 251-300 band in NIRF Ranking 2021, ISO 21001:2018 certified, recognized under section 2(f) of the UGC Act, 1956, AICTE Recognized and affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi. It is one of the best developing engineering colleges in North Karnataka. The institute is constructed on a land of 11 acres, a green and clean campus.
The different programs are housed in six separate blocks, each with an average built-up area of 60,000 sqft. The spacious Classrooms, Seminar halls, State–of–the–art, laboratories, Computer Centers, Library, 400 Mbps leased line connectivity, 150 KVA power backup, Canteen, Canara Bank ATM, Medical Facility, Incubation facility, Bus services, Rainwater harvesting, Sewage Treatment plant, playground, basketball court and well—furnished rooms in Hostels, etc., make living on the campus easy and cozy. In addition, students are given scope for participation in co-curricular and extra-curricular activities. We nurture the overall development of students on the campus and aim to produce good and competent engineering graduates who are responsive to social needs and human values. Qualified and committed faculty make academics strong on the campus. The department of training and placement periodically conducts soft-skill development programs and company-specific inputs for students, more than 75 percent of students get placed on campus every year and the remaining are either placed off-campus or opt for either higher studies or have start-ups of their own. In short, every modern convenience has been provided to ensure that students learn in an environment that stimulates logical reasoning, critical thinking, analytical ability, and the like to build confidence to meet the country’s challenges at present and in the future. At present, 2140 students are studying on the campus. The faculty strength is 97 and other supporting staff strength is 106. The institute offers the five engineering disciplines viz ECE, CSE, ME, CV, ECE, and EEE. Two PG courses MCA and Mtech (CSE). The institution is also VTU recognized research centers in chemistry, physics, ECE, EEE, CSE, ME and CV.
