“The Department of Computer Science and Engineering was established in 2008-2009 under the eminent leadership of Dr. Basavaraj. S. Anami, Principal with the intake of 60 Students. In 2022 the intake was increased to 180.”
“The Department of Computer Science & Engineering, established in 2008, offers UG and PG, M. Tech in Computer Science and Engineering. The department is a VTU-recognized research center. The B.E. program was accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA) in 2018. The Department practices outcome-based education. With state-of-the-art laboratories and other supporting facilities to provide an enhanced learning environment, the Department boasts of well-qualified teaching faculty with rich research, teaching, and industrial experience.”

1. Engineering knowledge: Apply the knowledge of mathematics, science, engineering fundamentals, and an engineering specialization to the solution of complex engineering problems.
2. Problem analysis: Identify, formulate, review research literature, and analyse complex engineering problems reaching substantiated conclusions using first principles of mathematics, natural sciences, and engineering sciences.
3. Design/development of solutions: Design solutions for complex engineering problems and design system components or processes that meet the specified needs with appropriate consideration for the public health and safety, and the cultural, societal, and environmental considerations.
